Bias

The Old Gray Whore shows her bias again:

Ted Cruz's "A Time For Truth," published on June 30, sold 11,854 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen Bookscan's hardcover sale numbers. That's more than 18 of the 20 titles that will appear on the bestseller list for the week ending July 4. Aziz Ansari's "Modern Romance," which is #2 on the list, sold fewer than 10,000 copies. Ann Coulter's "Adios America," at #11, sold just over half as many copies. According to Dylan Byers, the media reporter at Politico, Cruz's book will not be included in the latest NYT Bestseller List despite selling more than most of the books on the list.

Hrm, I wonder why?

"We have uniform standards that we apply to our bestseller list, which includes an analysis of book sales that goes beyond simply the number of books sold," Times spokesperson Eileen Murphy explained when asked about the omission. "This book didn't meet that standard this week."

Oh, I see: "uniform standards..." Those would be the "standards" wherein anything which is disliked by the pack of socialists and communists who work at the Old Gray Whore is automatically excluded from the list or its ranking marginalized downward as far as they can possible justify. That's why the disgusting rag is in receivership: nobody with a functional brain wants to read the Leftist propaganda which they publish every day.

The mainstream media can't find any dirt on Cruz, despite years of desperate searching, so in classic communist fashion they try to "disappear" him. The more the Left tries to marginalize conservatives like Cruz, the more people stand up and pay attention to what those conservatives are saying. Believe what you want about Donald Trump, he had the balls to get in front of the cameras and say what most of us out in here Pay-Your-Bills Land are thinking.

Will Trump be elected? Doubtful. He's got too many thorns. But the canary in the coal mine which the Left is determined to ignore is the fact that his poll numbers skyrocketed in a single week based upon that one comment. That is indicative of a large percentage of the population who are dissatisfied with the business-as-usual politicians, the ones on both sides of the aisle who spend their days alternately insulting and robbing the American middle class.

Once again, the ball is in the hands of the GOP; they are presented here with a golden opportunity. The three leading candidates for the Democrats to date are a greedy kleptocrat, an oligarch mayor who left behind a burning city, and a doddering old communist. Unless the Donks are hiding a Harry Truman in their collective pocket, 2016 should be a slam dunk for the Republicans. But I can already see the GOP leadership screwing up their faces and chewing on their tongues as they very slowly but deliberately aim the pistol at their own feet...
