Union Made

Press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office in Alabama:

Federal authorities on Wednesday arrested the former president of the federal employees union at Birmingham's Veterans Affairs Hospital on charges she embezzled more than $132,000 from the local chapter


Of course they want card check; the more people you can bully into the racket, the bigger the graft. The essential difference between unions and the mafia is that the mobsters have better manners.
