Catfight in Chicago
All is not well on the Democrat home front:
Turns out Obama will have a legacy, after all. He has done something no Democrat has accomplished for nearly 100 years: alienated the unions. Doesn't really matter who the unions are rolling in the mud with, of course; they're still filthy pigs one and all. To torture the analogy, however, when they start fighting over particular mud puddles, the rest of us stay a little cleaner.
In a swipe at the White House, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), one of the largest labor organizations in the country, has endorsed Jesus “Chuy” Garcia over sitting Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Emanuel is President Barack Obama’s former Chief of Staff and is considered a major player in Democratic politics.
