On Vacation

I recently resigned from a 20-year position and will be starting with a new company in April, this one hopefully less susceptible to the predations of Harvard MBAs, consultants, efficiency experts, and the various other subspecies of non-producers which plague modern American business. First, however, I am taking three weeks off in order to "de-corporatize" myself, so posting will be light and sporadic. Short of Obama starting World War III (depressingly possible, unfortunately), I won't be saying much here, as I'll be on the links, yard-working, consuming mass quantities of alcohol and... cleaning out the garage.

In the meantime, feel free to talk amongst yourselves or just wander off in search of more active amusements until my return to the real world.

Congratulations! I'll be anxious to hear who the lucky company is that will now be subject to your charm and wit.

Wow! Congratulations! Sounds like the right move at the right time. We should try to get together to catchup now that you have some new found freedom.
