As most adept politicians have learned, just stay the course and ignore it and people will forget about your indiscretions once a new, shiny bauble is waved in front of their faces.
It has amazed and saddened me to see how many people are willing to give up their freedoms, for the security in knowing that they will get a new I-Phone soon, or can watch who the next bachelor will choose.
