The Seedling Speaks

Just say no to more Bush:

Jeb Bush sought Wednesday to draw a line beyond the inevitable comparisons to his father and brother on foreign policy, promising he would be "my own man" when it comes to addressing global crises.

Jebby-boy, I don't care. You're a Bush and we've had enough of that particular poison to last another century. Or two. The money people may want you to run, the voters do not. That's on BOTH sides of the aisle, by the way.

Additionally, your intimations about more Mexican immigrants being needed in the U.S. isn't going to stand in you good stead in Texas. We're up to our proverbial ears in Mexicans, legal and otherwise. You need to be proposing a plan for sending them home, not bringing more over.

When Bush Redux attacked Obama's "foreign policy," the Donks pissed this pithy little remark back across the line:

Mo Elleithee, communications director for the Democratic National Committee, said in a memo to reporters that Bush's criticisms should be directed at his brother. "The fact is many of the enemies that we face today were emboldened and rose because of George W. Bush's inept foreign policy," he said.

While it may or may not have been inept, at least he had one.
