Good Grief

You actually want him?!

A letter to the editor at the Detroit Free Press (titled “America doesn’t know how good they have it with Obama”) from Richard Brunt, of Victoria, British Columbia, had a strong message for Americans who disapprove of their president.

“When you are done with Obama, could you send him our way?”

Sure! You can have now if you'd like; we've pretty much been done with him for six years now. Of course, it makes perfect sense you'd want him, looking at your homegrown politicians...

Brunt began the letter, saying, “Many of us Canadians are confused by the U.S. midterm elections.”

“So, Americans vote for the party that got you into the mess that Obama just dug you out of? This defies reason,” Brunt wrote.

Oh, there's some defiance of reason going on here, but it ain't us. You could have put the period after 'confused.'

This is the long-term result of letting the lion food breed out of control. Maybe a touch of plague isn't such a bad idea after all.
