Inexorably Drawn Towards Our Doom

Abuse of Power? Is this moving us one step, a really big step, closer to tyranny? Since Climate Change is no longer science but now religion, and we have no way to prove any supposed link between this change and natural disasters, we're on a slippery slope, and accelerating. Executive Powers just gives the President carte blanche to pull whatever schemes he wishes. The Patriot Act was probably equally as terrible.
Yes, climate changes. Of course it does. The Earth's entire history has been of cycles of change. And almost all of this history has had no humans. No Evil Republicans. No Climate Change Doubters. How did we ever have natural disasters and superstorms without them?
