Halloween Tunes

This the Hector Berlioz version of Dies Irae (Day of Wrath) as used in the movie The Shining. The piece originated as a 13th century latin hymn, often sung by monks of various orders as a requiem mass. You may hear a Gregorian version here if you wish, but the Berlioz arrangement is much creepier.
