Project Horizon

Project Horizon was the U.S. military plan to establish a moonbase. You can go here to read the executive summary from 1959. It was all TOP SEKRIT at the time of course, which makes it interesting to compare with how history actually developed. If you're like me, however, mil-gov reports make you go all ADD. In that case, just jump to the bottom and look at the pictures.
