Fusion Rocket?

Whitecoats at the University of Washington claim they will have a working fusion engine -- i.e., net energy positive -- ready for demonstration this summer. You'll pardon me if I'm skeptical; I've heard about how controllable and applicable fusion is "right around the corner" my whole life. I grow weary of con men and tent hawkers. Shut your mouth and show me the goods.
