Thursday Tunes

Violinist Vannessa Mae's cover of Mason Williams' famous 1968 pop hit, Classical Gas. I maintain that is impossible to listen to Classical Gas in any form and not have your spirits lifted just a little -- even moreso when you play it. I've learned it on both piano and guitar, and it is surprisingly easy and delightfully fun to play. It is, in my opinion, one of the iconic pieces of music of the 20th century.
