A day that will live in infamy

Tora, Tora, Tora is in my opinion the best film of this day ever made.
Shortly after the Attack on Pearl Harbor, the United States declared war on Japan. Prior to US entry into WWII, Axis powers were clearly defeating their opponents. Never one given to conspiracy theories, I still wonder how much Roosevelt knew and was Pearl Harbor a sacrifice to get us actively into the war. Over 400,000 Americans died to keep the world free, and the Allies couldn't have done it without us.
