A Valid Comparison

Unless you've been living under a rock for the last 24 hours, you've undoubtedly heard the sturm und drang over the Obama campaign's laughably tasteless commercial spot comparing voting for the first time with young women losing their virginity. If you haven't seen it, go a-Googling; I shan't dignify it with linkage. It's a sign of their desperation, of course, but as David Burge (Iowahawk) stated, the analogy will probably hold up quite well -- for the Donks, at least:

For Democrats this year, voting will be like sex. Awkward, embarrassing, with lots of crying afterwards. - David Burge

I only wish they'd made the ad with lesbian and/or gay references, so they could have alienated even larger swathes of the population. Run faster, little Donkeys!
