Bunch of No-Good Headbangers.
If you want to do something noble after making lots of money, instead of ranting about plastic beer tabs, try Public Service ads to solve murders. I say, Kudos go to the band, who, by the way released probably their best album in 2008 with Death Magnetic. Going to be hard to top. Of course, I said that about the black album....
Or, you can be like Sarah McLachlan and give all your money to the National SPCA (who do little to actually help animals, it's all done on the local levels.)

I'm not sure what to think of Metalica. Their bass player helped the Pastorious family recover Jaco's Bass of Doom, which was stolen in the mid 80's.

"Although Trujillo currently owns the instrument, the Metallica bassist agreed in writing to relinquish the instrument to the family at any time for the same purchase price". I'm not sure if this is just a cheap PR stunt or if he is sincerely trying to help the family. I have seen clips of Trujillo playing the BOD on stage and is nice to see the old girl back in action.
