Same as it ever was

Muslims in Iraq have resumed blowing each other up. I'm so glad we spent thousands of lives and billions of dollars to make Iraq into... well, what it was before we went there, really. Chalk it up to yet another failure of the blinkered concept called nation-building.

On the plus side, we got to test all our new bang-toys on moving targets and recorded some really choice videos of 'splodin ragheads, so I suppose it's not a total loss.

This is what we get out of the Democrats', and the President's, 'Cut-and-Run' strategy for withdrawl from Iraq. Yet again, our civilian leadership did NOT listen to what the military leadership said they needed to finish the job. Yet again we slink away with our tails between our legs and hand over a half-assed job to the stunned locals to flounder in. Yet again, the Democrats feel good about themselves, while the rest of us are embarassed to share the same ccountry with them.
