Fifteen people were killed or injured in tribal fighting in Yemen after a male donkey chased an ass and raped it just near the house of its owner.

Newspapers in Yemen said the owner of the ass got mad after he saw the donkey attacking his animal, prompting him to chase the donkey and hit it.

The attack infuriated the donkey owner, who called his armed tribe men and asked them to take revenge.

“The problem snowballed into an armed fight between Makabis tribe, which owns the donkey, and Bani Abbas which owns the ass…15 people were either killed or injured in the battle,” the Saudi Arabic language daily Aleqtisadiah said

That's as succinct an explanation as you'll ever see for why the Arabs have lived in primitive squalor for thousands of years: it's because they're ignorant savages. When their oil runs out, the few who have learned to take regular baths and speak civilized languages will revert to barbarism, just like their donkey-lovin' country cousins.

For a microcosm of this effect, watch as Iraq returns to baseline over the next couple of years. You can't give people democracy and you sure as hell can't give them civilization. If they're willing to kill each other over a donkey having its way with an ass, what do you think are the chances they'll live peaceably with neighbors of other beliefs and creeds? Something near zero? Yeah.

Well, no matter. They'll get uppity here again pretty soon and the Israelites will thump them soundly, just as they have every few decades for the last four thousand years. Same circus, different music.
