Exactly how rare is it? I'd wager not as rare as we think. We know more about space than we do about our oceans. It's a vast, little exploited resource that is certainly as much a key to our future as is exploration of space.
And that is a really cool video. I'd say: thanks, oil exploration, for providing many of these remarkable glimpses into the briny deep.
