SHOW ME THE MONEY!

Monkeys taught how to use money
I don't know if any of you get this magazine, but it would be a good periodical if you don't. It is chocked full of useless but rather interesting factoids that we didn't think we wanted to know but will keep you entertained.

The funny thing is that it is one of the few magazines today dealing with scientific endeavors that is not politicized or turned into a soapbox for environmentalism (yea I'm pointing a finger at you National Geographic!), such as this article here.

It is about a seven year study, where they taught capuchin monkeys to use silver discs the size of quarters to purchase food. It showed that they got the concept and that even among the monkeys there were frugal spenders and dummys who threw their money away on junk food. Go check it out.

Word of warning to scientists, don't name any of them Ceasar, or inject them with chemicals to increase their intelligence... we ALL know what that leads to.
