An old flame burning in your eyes...
If you insist on serenading your Rapunzel, you might want to wait until she's in her own tower rather than the county jail. Also, try not to set the grass on fire.
Well, even if they don't get back together when she's eventually released from jail, she can factually (and literally) claim Candle Boy as an old flame.
Last night at about 11:30, Corrections Officer Ed Pawlak was taking out the trash at the county jail, when he saw a man holding a lighted candle on the edge of jail property, according to borough police.
The man proved to be [Brandon] Pyzik, a 19-year-old from Raritan Township. When the corrections officer told him to stay where he was, he dropped the candle, igniting a small grass fire, police said. Pawlak put out the fire and handcuffed Pyzik.
Then Patrolman Bradley Bullman arrived and spoke to Pyzik. Bullman reported that “he was trying to get the attention of his girlfriend who is currently lodged in the jail. He wanted to show her that he still loves her.”
Well, even if they don't get back together when she's eventually released from jail, she can factually (and literally) claim Candle Boy as an old flame.
