ISK 3.0

Have you been wanting to get into EVE Online, but feel intimidated by the legendary steepness of the game's learning curve and its brutally unforgiving competitiveness? Well then help is here!

ISK 3.0 is beyond doubt the single best guide to getting started in EVE that I've ever seen. I've been playing on and off for seven years now, and much of what's in this guide I've had to learn the hard way. The EVE-verse is so gigantomungous, nobody can see and learn and do everything, but this guide is an excellent way to get started. As a bonus, it's also absolutely gorgeous. No eye-searing ACSII yawns, here; this is over 400 pages of top-production artwork and detailed information.

Even if you haven't considered trying EVE, I urge you to take a peek at ISK 3.0, as it may just grab your interest. If nothing else, it will help to give you an appreciation for the incomparable and unprecedented virtual universe that most people are not even aware exists.

Finally, don't turn your nose up at the guide if you consider yourself a veteran pod pilot; there's stuff in here you don't know yet, I assure you.
