Blert Alert!
An Obama spokesperson demonstrates the problem with the leadership strategy of making shit up as you go...
"We don’t make decisions about questions like intervention based on consistency or precedent," said Denis McDonough, the administration's deputy national security adviser, amid an off-camera gaggle of reporters."We make them based on how we can best advance our interests in the region."
I wonder if he realized just how moronic that makes his boss look after it came out of the yawning chasm leading to the echo chamber where the rest of us keep a brain. I'm guessing probably not.
It is WAY past time to change the diaper.

In this ongoing foreign policy disaster that is called the Obama administration, we are witnessing the pitiful flailing of a desperate child whose feet are no longer touching bottom. I'm unmoved to see him rescued, though the embarrassment is acute and is rapidly becoming painful. Let this be a lesson to all those so-called "swing voters": think about Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama before you pull the lever.
This is what happens when we appoint a community organizer to the office of the President. When Hillary Clinton is accusing you of being incompetent in the realm of foreign policy, well... let's just say you may want to find something else to do for a living, something more in line with your current skill set -- like driving an ice cream truck.
