And the LAWD commanded: Thou shalt not nameth a path Lustful. (Seriously. It was on the tablet Moses dropped. Er, wait... or was that Mel Brooks? I'm always getting them confused.)

County commissioners said Tuesday that they would ask residents who live on and near Lustful Court to consider a petition to change the name. The road, a few links from Jeffersonville Road in east Bibb County, dates back at least four decades.

County Commissioner Lonzy Edwards, a minister who represents the area, said he’s gotten several complaints about the road name.

“Lots of improper behavior occurs all over, everywhere, but to encourage it, seem to condone it with a name like that?” he said.

In my experience, a disproportionately large percentage of that "improper behavior" occurs among church-goers -- in or out of their churches.

I think the residents should agree to change the name. Here are some suggestions they can put before the meddling preacher and his fellow numbskulls:

Adultery Ave
Bitchin' Blvd
Tramp Trails
69th Circle
