The Big Lie

Oh, this is rich... Today is the 20th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre, wherein students protesting the oppressive machinations of the ChiCom hegemony were murdered in the streets by the Chinese military. Earlier today, China dropped this little bomb on the Australian government:

In the wake of attacks on Indian students in Melbourne, China says better protection is needed for its students in Australia.

China's embassy says study and living conditions in Australia are generally acceptable.

But in a statement, the embassy says China attaches high important [sic] to student safety and it hopes the Federal Government will provide better protection to students from all countries to ensure their legitimate rights in Australia.

Hypocrisy, thy name is Red China.
