Steroid Hallucinations
It's a truism about baseball players being some of the most superstitious people in the world, (hey, you try to hit a 95 mph fast ball and you'll think something wonky's goin' on, too). This, however, is a bit much:

Professional baseball players have lots of eerie tales about the Pfister Hotel... Most professional baseball and basketball teams stay at the Pfister when they're in town.
A player for the Dodgers has been known to sleep with a baseball bat for protection after hearing odd noises. And two pairs of Florida Marlins players reportedly demand to share a room when they're in Milwaukee because they're afraid of ghosts.

Two manly ball players DEMAND to share a room? I'll bet that isn't the only thing they share while in there.
