Darwin Loves...

...gravity:

A distressed passenger leapt to his death from a small aircraft some 7,000 metres above the Canadian Arctic after forcing open its cabin door, police say.

The 20-year-old man was unruly during the charter flight from Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories to Cambridge Bay, Nunavut, prompting crew to alert authorities of an in-flight emergency.

He then jumped from the twin-propeller King Air 200 about 180km from the landing strip...

His sink rate was a bit high.

A search for his remains has been launched.

Why?
