Darwin Sighs

Who ya think these idiots voted for?

A monarch butterfly has a chance at completing its species' famed migration to central Mexico thanks to some tiny cardboard splints, a bit of contact cement and a trucker from Alabama.

The insect's broken wing was painstakingly splinted by an upstate New York couple who then helped it hitch a ride south after the weather in the southern Adirondacks turned cold.

I got a shiny dollar says this couple of genetic dead-ends are both ardent evolutionists who would be completely baffled if someone were to point out the overwhelming irony involved.

The new enviromentalism isn't about replacing God with Mother earth. It is about setting your self up as God. You control the environment, you decide which species lives or dies, you are the one who watches over everything. It is the final evolution of the me generation.

Hrm. I hadn't taken the logic to its ultimate conclusion, but I believe you're right, Davis. It makes sense in that perverted, lukewarm IQ, elite leftist sort of way: why ignore deities when you can BE deities?

We'll be the worse for it, eventually. But on the bright side, civilization will eventually and inevitably revert to partial barbarism at some point in the future, and the leftists are the least equipped to survive it. The genetic stables must be mucked out every few thousand years.
