Nutty Crunch

Last year we saw a case of ring around the penis, and now some dude had to get down to the nut-cuttin':

A Malaysian welder had to have a nut removed from around his penis after an attempt to lengthen it before he gets engaged next week went embarrassingly wrong... [The] fire and rescue department were also involved in trying to remove the nut from the unnamed welder, who is in his 20s and hoped the nut would weigh down his penis to make it longer.

As a public service announcement, (and to prevent further cringe-inducing stories along these lines), I'd just like to say: Penis + Foreign Object = NO! WRONG! STOP DOING THAT.

What Size is this Stud?

from: Studs

From our tables on Flange PCDs you can determine the recommended stud bolt diameter. From the table below, you can determine the corresponding nut size. This will allow the construction engineers to ensure all necessary hand tools of the correct size e.g. flogging spanners, ring spanners, socket sizes etc. are made available during construction.
Remember that if you plan to hydrotight the assembly, the studs will have to be longer than if tightened by hand.
.....
That about sums it up for me :-)
