Turtle Soup

Some baby sea turtles took a wrong turn at Albuquerque and marched into an Italian restaurant instead of out to sea. The article says they were confused by the artificial lights. Looking at the first photo in the article, I think it just as likely they were confused by all the assholes crowding around them with cameras.

"Ooooooohhhh! Look at the cute baby turtle! We have to make sure nothing interferes with their natural cycle so we get more baby turtles... Here, let me stick this fucking camera five inches away from his face and flashblind him."

Idiots. I look at that photo and have a sudden, powerful urge to leap into the frame and start punching people in the mouth.

Blinded by lights? How about it is a dumb animal and many head the wrong way even in broad daylight. I really get tired of people attributing human emotion and thoughts to an animal.
