Ways to expedite the next Ice Age
The continuing saga of Gorebal Warming, now the tree hugging hippies want to ban Patio Warmers.
"Patio heaters are scandalous because they are burning fossil fuels in the open sky, so producing vast quantities of CO2 with very little heat benefit," said European parliamentarian Fiona Hall, who wrote the report criticizing the pace of energy reforms in Europe.
Wait one minute here; they are handy to have around to dry the kids off once they exit the hot tub on those cool nights. We use fewer towels with this method thus saving the washer and dryer time as well as a parent’s sanity. So patio warmers may actually be saving the planet in my little world. Now if I could only get the dogs and kids to stop farting!

My wife has been wanting one of these for a while. I've been resisting -- mainly on the basis of expense -- and continuing use of my tree-murdering fire pit. However, if it can piss off hippies even more than burning trees pisses them off, it may very well be worth the investment. I shall watch for the end-of-season sales on them -- which shouldn't be long, as winter here in Houston ends about, oh... now.

Remember, when starting a fire in the fire pit it is best to use styrofoam cooler pieces as a starter. They burn quickly and release a ton Flourocarbons, which we all know just sends hippies into a tizzy. About the same as kicking puppies or voting republican does.
By the way, as a side note, love my patio heater. Used it all the way into December. Haven't used it this year due to the large amount of rain keeping me off the deck.
