Mail Bomb

Boom!

A postal worker suffered minor injuries this weekend after a pair of teenagers left an explosive device in a Peachtree City mailbox, police said. Peachtree City police said the teens, ages 15 and 16, admitted to planting the device and were charged with manufacturing an explosive device.

Police said a potentially explosive device was thrown Friday onto the porch of a Linden Lane residence to scare and retaliate against a 17-year-old who lives there.

"They were very foolish to do this, but felt they had no other choice because they were being bullied by this individual," Stein said.

There's a lesson here for bullies: don't pick on nerds, or they'll blow up the mailman.
