Gore's 'carbon offsets' paid to firm he owns

Al Gore defends his extraordinary personal energy usage by telling critics he maintains a "carbon neutral" lifestyle by buying "carbon offsets," but the company that receives his payments turns out to be partly owned and chaired by the former vice president himself.

This is an older article and I had heard about this, but it took quite a lot of looking to find this information. The Company is called Generation investment management. This is where he "purchases" his carbon offsets. It would be interesting to see how many of his friends and cronies also "purchase" credits here.
