I normally avoid anything Britney Spears-related like a plague-infected rat, but I couldn't pass this up:

Britney Spears' mother Lynne has delayed the release of her forthcoming parenting book following the news daughter Jamie-Lynn is pregnant.

Jamie-Lynn, 16, confirmed she is 12 weeks pregnant... A spokeswoman for publishers Thomas Nelson tells People.com, "The book is delayed indefinitely. It's delayed, not canceled."

Yeah. "Delayed indefinitely." Just like any chance little Jamie-Lynn has of ever leading a normal life.

Meanwhile, Spears' mother Lynne has spoken of her shock at the news. She says, "I didn't believe it because Jamie Lynn's always been so conscientious. She's never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby."

That's what you get for living in that fantasy land where your little snowflake is oh-so-perfect. Christ on a stick, lady; looking at those pictures linked within the article, you've been dressing her up like a 6th Street whore since she was 12... what the hell did you expect? Your older daughter is a world-renowned sociopathic slut; why did you think the second batter to the plate would be any different?

Look on the bright side: you can still publish a book about your parenting experiences, you'll just have to call it "How Not To Be A Good Parent."
