Poor Phlegmish Pronunciation

Mad Belgians:

The new Miss Belgium created a storm at her crowning - when it emerged she could not speak Flemish.

In halting Dutch, Ms Poulicek told the Flemish network, VRT: "I have to try to learn more", before adding in French: "I spoke almost no Dutch when I started this adventure."

I don't see the problem; the German army understands French.
