Mayan Meltdown
According the Mayan calendar, on December 21st, 2012, WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!
Do not fear: this guy is writing a book, called "Survive 2012." That's right; survive the end of the world. I'm not really sure how that works, but this guy's on it. I'm certain he's entirely sane, emotionally stable and an excellent source of unbiased information...
Oh, and one small point: the Mayans were wrong. The end of the world -- for them -- was in 1546, when the Spanish completed their conquest of the Yucatan. I'd say that makes their calendar an object of questionable value at best.
