Cooler Heads

Global warming is old and busted. The new hotness -- er... coolness, rather -- is global cooling.

The mud at the bottom of B.C. fjords reveals that solar output drives climate change - and that we should prepare now for dangerous global cooling

That's mud in the eye of the whining class -- and it's really going to eat into Fat Albert's carbon credit profits.

Climate stability has never been a feature of planet Earth. The only constant about climate is change; it changes continually and, at times, quite rapidly. Many times in the past, temperatures were far higher than today, and occasionally, temperatures were colder.

No matter; they'll find something else to whine about. Simpletons are like that; sweeping generalizations and strident accusations are much easier for the unsophisticated mind to deal with than the myriad details and dynamics of real scientific thought.

More importantly, the scaremongers are only happy when Joe Average remains in a constant state of low-level fear and guilt. Misery loves company. It's part and parcel of an inferiority complex, which is the common psychological factor among "activists" the world over. The only real difference between an alien abduction "victim" and a global warming scaremonger is in who is fleecing them.
