Abell S0740

An occasional dose of Hubble Humility is good for the soul...

This is galactic cluster Abell S0740, about 450 million light years distant. There are thousands of micro-galaxies surrounding the large elliptical monster at the center of the cluster. Click the picture below for a much larger and more detailed image.
