Quakey Snake

Earthquake predictor:

Jiang said snakes...could sense an earthquake from 120 km (70 miles) away, three to five days before it happens. They respond by behaving strangely.

Interesting. That means that with a properly arranged network of these "snake sensors," it would be possible to narrow down the epicenter of a future earthquake to within about a 5,000 square mile area.

Then what?

"Hey, everybody. There's going to be a massive earthquake in three days. Everyone please leave in an orderly manner. No pushing and shoving. Don't clog up the freeways and suck the gas stations dry, please."

Yeah, we saw how well that worked in Houston with hurricane Rita.
