Die. All of Us. Soon.

Woe unto us! A giant trash vortex is eating the Pacific Ocean. And look here! In 42 years, all the fish will be dead--because we (or maybe the trash vortex) will have eaten them all.

Doom, despair, and agony on me.

The only thing that surprises me is the fact that I still have the capacity to be surprised when people actually believe this sort of psuedoscientific academic manure.

This is not a problem. It won’t take effect until the end of the century, and we already know all fish will be extinct by 2048 [http://apathycurve.blogspot.com/2006/11/die-all-of-us-soon.html].

No fish around to eat the Phytoplankton = more Phytoplankton.
