Chunky Monkey

Bears eat monkey, (photographic entertainment at the link):

One Sloth bear tried unsuccessfully to shake the monkey loose after it took refuge on the structure, built of crossing horizontal and vertical poles.

Ignoring attempts by keepers to distract it, the bear climbed onto a horizontal pole, and, standing stretched on two legs, "used its sharp canines to pull the macaque, which was shrieking and resisting, from its perch."

The bear then brought the animal to a concrete den, where three bears ate it.

He even shared his lunch. Such a nice bear.

Monkey on a stick, reminds me of a few meals that were consumed while on libo in the Philippines.

Monkey, cat, dog, rat... it all tastes pretty much the same when you're drunk on formaldehyde beer. (Which libation also has the salutary effect of helping one forget all the none-too-tasteful things one did the night before eating the monkey meat.)

*flicks lint off of shirt*

I'm certain you have confused me with some poorly bred non-rate, sir. As a non-commissioned officer and a gentleman of the highest social caliber, I can assure you I would never have descended to such common debauchery.

Now if you'll excuse me, my tea is getting cold.

::sniff::
