Hate Hotline

These seven distinguished gentlemen are rolling over in their graves right now.

Here's why.

What I find most disturbing is the ACLU apparently doesn't have a problem with the concept, only the execution thereof. The spirit of the First Amendment is that one cannot separate language into "good" (permissible) words and "bad" (impermissible) words. Such an action, by its very nature, kills the meaning of free speech.

When the organization which likes to tout itself as the defender of the First Amendment can no longer even remember the spirit or logic of said Amendment, it has definitely outlived its usefulness. Or worse, it's become a political tool.
