Season's Grumblings

Some group in Germany has their collective panties in a knot over Santa:

A German group has launched a campaign to persuade people to turn their backs on Santa Claus and return to St Nicholas instead.

This is a particularly glaring example of crowd stupidity, as the name "Santa Claus" is simply a linguistic distortion of the name "Saint Nicholas."

I think we should turn our backs on Germany. After all they where invented in 1965 to advertise Becks Lager Beer. We should start using the name St. Pauli Girl instead.
