Make The Monster Go Away

Some whiner in Corpus Christi thinks a gargoyle in front of a haunted house is too scary, so he's whimpering about it like a 10 year-old boy at a Catholic priest convention:

"Something like this [that] is so open like that is, I feel, pretty offensive," said concerned parent David Freymiller. Freymiller is not against Halloween, but opposes the gargoyle because it's so unavoidable and in plain view for children.

"We go trick-or-treating. I take my kids and they dress up and love it and realize it just good clean fun," he said. "This object just seems so different, there's just an evilness to it."

Oh, nos! The ebil mOnStEr is goona eat me! It's so EBIL. Hep me, Jebus! Hep me! I is SOOOO scared!

What a simpering little worm. How may times a day do your kids get beat up at school? May as well tell 'em to get used to it.

By way of a post-script, I'm pretty sure that statue, (which, by the way, is very cool-looking), is modeled on the keymaster demon from Ghostbusters. I wonder if this guy runs and hides every time he sees Rick Moranis on television.

Holy crap. Someone should inform this concerned parent there is an evilness to many things out there. What a panzy.

Verily, Mad Builder! The Old Ones shall yet return and enslave us all, worthless, groveling scum that we are.

Of course, His Noodliness might have something to say about that. But then again, maybe The Flying Spaghetti Monster is actually Great Cthulhu in clever diguise, deceiving us into worship of the Old Ones. Wily, he is...
