Reuters Rooter

Here's a little clip from a Reuters article about the U.S. government's attempt to get our oil and gas production re-stabilized:

House Republicans on Wednesday will launch a rapid-fire assault against environmental protections on the pretext of helping the U.S. oil and gas industry recover from hurricane damage, environmental groups charge.

Have you noticed that when a Democrat-run Congress took such measures, it was an "unfortunate and temporary expedient," but when a Republican-dominated Congress does the same, it's a "rapid-fire assault" under a "pretext"?

Reuters is so biased it's positively nauseating. Of course, they tack on the "environmental groups charge" catch-all to the end of the sentence, in a pathetically thin attempt to preserve their journalistic objectivity. But that's rather like the whore of Babylon donning a white dress.

I have to admit their obvious negative bias toward anything associated with the GOP is crazy insane. They are a fascinating type of Wack. They bitch about our dependency on foreign oil, then cock-block any attempting of state-side drilling. The preach “Conserve oil” but when the price goes up, which is the only way to truly motivate people to conserve, they bitch that it cost two much to fill up their hippie cars. I whish they would drop the stupid and let us drill for oil or at least offer a better solution.

As a native Floridian my opinion on lifting the ban on Florida offshore drilling is Fuck Ya! What’s the problem with that? They have rigs out their now that just rode out two class 5 hurricanes and they spilled less oil then my buddies old Camaro, and where are the nuke plants? Out whole grid should be running off those things. Old Skool power plants use up a $hit ton of oil.
