More Texas-Style Protest Protest

A McLennan County resident faced $3,000 bail Tuesday after witnesses said he swerved his pickup truck in and out of a display of crosses set up on the side of the road by anti-war protesters.


Hey.. at least it wasn't the protesters that are blithely making the locals miserable while despoiling the place they live that he ran over. I especially like the "swerving in and out" part. No "oops.. I accidentally lost control for a second" subtlety for this guy.

I read about this citizen and his form of protest. I have to say there are so many Texans out there that do such foolish things that I sometimes regret being a Texan. Oh well, as George Carlin says when you are born in America you are given a front row ticket to the freak show.
