Is There A Late Fee?

A new week, a new wacky Dutch story:

A library in Holland is lending out people, as well as books, in a new initiative aimed at challenging stereotypes.

People can borrow gay people, gipsies [sic] and Muslims for an hour and talk to them...

Yeah. That'll work.

The library has contacted ten people from different backgrounds who are willing to have a chat with library visitors in a pub near the library.

Last time I looked, you didn't need to contract with a library to walk into a pub and strike up a conversation with a stranger. In fact, isn't that kinda what pubs are for?

Silly Dutch people.
