The Bomb

Witness the sad desperation of American automakers: Chrysler is spending $75 million to put Lee Iacocca next to inveterate mouth-breather Snoop Dog on national television.

Iacocca had this to say about it:

"I don't know what the hell Snoop is saying," Iacocca said with a smile. "But he called me 'nephew,' so I guess that means I'm in."

Yeah, that's it.

Here's another Iacocca quote, from over two decades ago:

"If you can find a better car, buy it."

Good advice, Lee. I did; they're made by Japanese and Germans. And tomorrow is the 60th Anniversary of Hiroshima being turned into a parking lot in less than five seconds.

Think about that for a minute.
