The commie-loving hypocrite deserves a lot worse. And her tearful act about suddenly having rented a patriotic conscience with the advent of her declining years doesn't wash. She was quite old enough to be aware of the ramifications of her actions at the time she committed them back in 1972. She should have been arrested as soon as she set foot back upon United States soil, tried for treason, and hanged by her neck until she was dead.
She escaped punishment due to a weak-willed, media-frightened government. If the worst she were to suffer was being spit upon every remaining day of her life and ridiculed as a social outcast, then she'd be getting off lightly. Traitors don't get second chances at patriotism.
Jane Fonda is persona non grata to the vast majority of Americans, and will forever remain so. As a former Marine and soldier, I shall toast the occasion of her eventual death with great ceremony and undisguised delight.
