Gee, look: the U.N. wants to communize the oceans.

Don't think so? Well, then tell me what this sentence says to you:

The treaty specifically declares the non-territorial seabed to be a "global commons" and authorizes its exploitation, under the direction of the U.N., for redistribution to the people in nations that have no part in producing value from the seabed.

That's the best summation of communism I've ever read.

I think I should start a charity. Its aim is to raise enough money to build the United Nations a gorgeous new state-of-the-art building in Geneva. Or Paris. Or Brussels. Or anywhere but American soil. I, of course, will disclose the sum of all collected monies I divert to "administrative costs," unlike the U.N.
