The Enemy
Evidence in plain sight of China's ambitions.
A knock-down, drag-out war with the ChiComs is inevitable. It is now a matter of "when" rather than "if". Would we win against them today? Yes. In ten years? Probably. Everything beyond that time is in doubt. Our enemies within -- the press and Democrat party, aided by the ChiComs -- continue to undermine the culture of individual responsibility which built the United States and replace it with slavish dependence. That shift in culture will make it increasingly difficult for us to field effective military forces as the century progresses.
At some time in the near future, the Chinese communist leadership will reach a crux point, one created by the intersection of increasing resistance to their ideology at home and a perceived weakness of their enemies abroad. That situation will lead inevitably to their decision to manufacture "a short, victorious war." That's from a statement made by Imperial Russian Minister of the Interior Vyacheslav von Plehve immediately prior to commencement of hostilities in the disastrous (for the Russians) Russo-Japanese War of 1905. The entire quote is: "What this country needs is a short, victorious war to stem the tide of revolution." Only this time, the consequences for world stability will be much more dire. We're not talking about a failing minor monarchy going at it with an upstart third-rate nation state over coaling rights at a warm-water port. This will be two titans clashing for global dominance. It is very possible this conflict will trigger World War III, as countries are forced to pick a side merely to survive the conflagration.
The battle against communism is never won, there are just pauses in the fighting. This diverting little sideshow we've been involved with since the fall of the Soviet Union 30 years ago -- the one wherein we shoot bumbling raghead barbarians like fish in a barrel -- is about to draw to a close. The Chinese are not incompetent religious fanatics, they are an ancient culture which will sacrifice millions of lives to achieve their collective goal, married to the most vile political ideology ever created. The main attraction will soon reclaim center stage, and nobody is going to like the next act.
